There was always a smorgasbord of egotistical, drunk young men who really believed a young, beautiful girl such as Chloe would be interested in going home with them. It was just a matter of waiting and watching for the loner or straggler, for it was a lot easier if they were by themselves. Then no one else saw her or believed the stories of conquest, for there were no witnesses. She was always careful to bite them in discreet places so they would not notice in the morning.
No, she didn't kill them. She only snacked on them, and it took all her control not to drain them. The only problem was, she always felt a little tipsy afterwards from all the alcohol in their blood. It wasn't a bad feeling, though, and it wasn't like she was driving anywhere!
